Luis Rivas had 3 base hits and 4 RBI and Jimmy Gobble was able to finish what
he started and was credited with a complete game as the London Hawk Lords
smashed the overmatched Enterprise Trekkers, 13 to 1.
Rivas had a good day at the plate. He tripled scoring two baserunners in the
4th inning, delivered a single in the 6th inning and smacked a one-base hit
which was good for two runs in the 9th inning. London banged out 18 on the
afternoon.
The winning pitcher was Gobble(7-5) who allowed 1 run for the game. Mike
Hampton(7-12) absorbed the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 6 hits and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
